TEFLIN 2007


TEFLIN is a professional organization which stands for “Teachers of English as a Foreign Language in Indonesia”. The members of TEFLIN are institutions and individual teachers of English in secondary and tertiary educational institutions in Indonesia as well as instructors at non-formal English courses. The objectives of TEFLIN are to provide English teachers with opportunities to share and discuss contemporary issues, trends and development in language teaching in Indonesia.

To achieve its purpose, TEFLIN conducts annual international conferences organized by its member institutions. The conference is a major event and attended by some 300 to 400 participants from institutions all over Indonesia and abroad. The speakers at the conference are invited scholars, university lecturers, and secondary school teachers.
